The conference brings together researchers, educators and initiatives working on Holocaust education and memory work to discuss new approaches to teaching the Shoah in the post witness era.
The programme includes panels on innovative educational tools, challenges in addressing younger generations, and the future of remembrance.
Participants and speakers include representatives from MoRaH, Lern und Gedenkort Hartheim, Likrat, JÖH, the GFKBÖ, the research project Baustelle Antisemitismus of the Bildungsdirektion, the University of Vienna History Didactics, the Zentrumsvertretung Lehrer*innenbildung, the Basisgruppe Lehramt, as well as international researchers including Ljiljana Radonic and others.
